This month, Sarasota’s own Nik Wallenda and his stunning bride Erendira Vasquez celebrated 15-years of marriage by renewing their vows on the romantic steps of the Ca’ d’Zan Mansion at the Ringling Museum. Acclaimed minister Joel Osteen was the ceremony’s officiator as the celebrity couple declared, once again, their testament of love in front of an intimate gathering of friends and family. Beautifully arranged by NK Productions and Wedding Planning, Beneva Flowers and Gifts were honored to provide the bouquets and adornments for the occasion.

“We used white David Austin garden roses with a hint of blush to create a classic bouquet for the bride,” says Doris DelVecchio, VP of Weddings and Special Events for Beneva Flowers and Gifts. “Ca’ d’Zan is a mystical and historic place so the flowers had to be reflective of the beauty and legacy of the venue.”

The bridal party included six bridesmaids and two flower girls dressed in chic, pale peach gowns. Floral designer Laura Rosich used fragrant champagne roses, Hydrangeas, and Queen Anne’s Lace for the bouquets, wrapping the stems in satin ribbon and lace. The angelic flower girls were crowned with silk, floral inspired halos to match their arrangements.

Rosich opted for ivory spray roses for the groom and blush spray roses for the groomsmen’s boutonnieres.

“The single rose can be a bit bulky,” she says. “A bud and open bloom with a sprig of Queen Anne’s Lace offers a clean, more elegant look.”

A gorgeous mauve hue hung delicately over the reception area, enveloped by a breathtaking backdrop of the Ringling Bridge, Gulf of Mexico and Sarasota skyline. The flowers were in full bloom and contrasted magnificently with the lighting and natural glow of the moonlit sky.

Centerpieces for the guest tables were filled with David Austin garden roses, Dusty Miller, Baby’s Breath and Queen Anne’s Lace as the perfect complement to the bronze chairs, gold trimmed glasses and table runners. An overlay of lace and pearls on mason jars offered a darling, vintage flair—a riveting accent to the nighttime ambiance.

Each vase was handcrafted by the bride and her daughter and displayed textured accessories such as keys and cameos. Hanging jasmine vine added character to the arrangements.
