Five Spring Bouquets We Love

It’s that time again. Fresh, delightful spring is back, and its wedding bouquets are better than ever. We here at Beneva Weddings have narrowed down the field (pun intended) to five of our favorite styles, along with the bride they’re best suited for. Read on to discover your dream spring bouquet.

The Natural

Big, wild and free, this look from last year is still going strong and giving spring bouquets all the room they deserve to really shine. These bouquets often take an oblong shape—you might even call them oversized—and seem positively stuffed with blooms. If wild abundance is your thing, this is the bouquet for you. A sleek, minimalist gown looks gorgeous as the backdrop to a bouquet like this, with its color and texture.

The Color Story

Peach is more popular than ever, a subtle but vivid shade that makes a bouquet feel modern and vibrant. This color family includes coral and tangerine—headier hues that look beautiful when blended with the softer, more traditional peach. We’re also seeing floral palettes that seem inspired by the desert, just a few shades away from gentle peach. Go the peach route if you’re feeling light and bright this spring and want a romantic yet modern look. If you’re still swooning over fall and winter’s moodier palette, just add a pop of peach to your bouquet to spring it up.

The Season Opener

There are some classic blooms associated with the season that make up the traditional spring bouquet. They never go out of style, and remain one of the best aspects of getting married in the spring. If you love a classic look, build your bouquet with ranunculus, dahlias, sweet pea, lilac, roses and tulips.

The Forager

Greens and other unexpected natural elements—think pampas grass, olive foliage, fern, jasmine vine, foxglove—really exert their influence in bouquets like these. In fact, we’re tempted to say these designs are half flowers and half of the above. The focus is on the woodsy elements as much as it is on the blooms themselves, which gives this bouquet an earthy, elemental look as much as it does an unusual one. If you’re an eco-friendly bride who is a fan of the forest, this one’s for you.

The Statement

A few big, standout flowers clamor for attention, and these bouquets give them their due. We’re talking king protea, anthurium, spider mum and huge dahlias with faces that seem almost as big as the sun. We’re also seeing bouquets ranging around a succulent or an air plant, which offers the same effect with a little green mixed in. This is a trendy look, perfect for the hip, modern bride who isn’t afraid to be bold.
