Is your love deeper than the ocean? This couple’s is. Darlene and Mike chose to say, “I do” at Sarasota’s world renowned aquarium, Mote Marine Laboratory. This venue offers a unique experience for wedding parties with touch tanks, a 135,000 gallon shark tank, theater and much more. This intimate indoor outdoor setting is something that their guests will talk about for a very long time.

The Flowers:
Because of the uniqueness of the venue, this couple chose a more traditional approach to their wedding flowers by picking the red rose as their main flower. Our special events team placed two swags of red roses on each side of the chuppah and scattered petals down the aisle to create a bit of drama for the ceremony. The theme of red rose petals continued to the reception where we also placed petals inside their centerpieces and on the table tops. The bride also chose red roses for her bouquet, which is always a stunning choice when paired with a pearl white dress. However, the intimacy of the event was the real show stopper.
