Setting Your Holiday Event Table

Jazz up your holiday event this year with some seasonal floral looks that will add warmth to your tables. Today we bring you three different approaches to styling a winter event with flowers, each one merrier than the next. An event that takes place during the holiday season needn’t feel obliged to use decorative trees, Santas and snowmen: instead, you can create an elegant centerpiece or tablescape that sets the tone for your event and pays homage to the best of the season.

Cranberry & Plum

Don’t overlook this color story when it comes to planning the tables for your holiday event. Rich yet vibrant cranberry makes a marvelous complement to plummy purple, with its touch of majesty. Set off by evergreen and metallic accents, this color scheme is perfect for a luxe affair such as a fundraiser or a gala.

Winter Whites

White is never so elegant as when it’s deployed on a rustic table, glammed up by gold or bronze place settings and floral vessels. The full range of whites creates a serene tablescape, especially when other earthy, organic elements are brought into the scene. This approach to holiday event flowers works indoors or out and keeps the focus on nature.

In The Reds

This classic color choice lends itself to a traditional holiday party or event. A surprising number of flowers have a red variety, but that doesn’t mean you have to stick to just flowers to pull of this look. Weave in berries, evergreens and even fruits like the pomegranate shown here. Use pedestals and vessels of different heights and finishes to give the tablescape a modern look.
